Data integration and selection involves helping you take an inventory of your existing data resources and then consolidating them into one or more centralized databases. We follow the Cross Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM), including the following steps:

Data Acquisition

Data acquisition involves identifying where your organization stores data and advising you on how to extract it from your databases, e-commerce system, or POS (point of sales) software. This step also involves combining data from multiple sources into a single database for processing.

Data Description

The data description step involves scanning the data points in depth in order to get a sense for what each data point means. This step can also include compiling some descriptive statistics on your data in order to get a sense for details like averages, maximum/minimum values, and standard deviations.
