Mobile Friendly Websites: No Longer Just A Good Idea

It’s old news that all websites, no matter what they’re trying to say or sell, need to be mobile-friendly in order to get the job done.
But the imperative to have a mobile friendly website has just become that much more important, in light of the fact that Google has recently announced two significant changes to its search algorithm that ranks mobile website search results.
Based on recent news headlines, Google will be using mobile-friendly factors in its mobile search results starting on April 21, 2015. After that date, Google’s mobile ranking factors will not only label your site as mobile-friendly, but will also use your website’s level of mobile-friendliness to determine if your site should rank higher in the search results.
Also worth noting is the fact that Google is now giving higher priority mobile search ranking to mobile apps that participate in App indexing for signed-in users, effective immediately.
